Sacandaga Station - Association Dock
HISTORY RESTORATION USE PARCEL DOCK TENNIS CLUB

The parcel has 262ft of lake frontage along the Great Sacandaga Lake, with a commercial dock permit for two piers and up to fifty boat slips. Unlike most lake permits, the original FJ&G riparian rights are deeded rights. A walking trail leads from the Terrace to the dock area along Rt152. A pass-through in the guard rail on the lakeside of the road and stairs, provide convenient access to the docks. Alternatively, there are steps that go down from the Terrace in front of lakefront lot 7. There is also a small short-term parking area along RT152 for (un)loading of boating supplies.
The dock area is administered by the Association. Part of the dock area (up to 16 slips) is set aside for a community sailing school operated by the Station owners. The school uses the former luggage room in the Station as instructional space. Contact us for further info on sailing instruction.
